00:18According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, it is at 3.8 percent this April compared to 3.7 percent last March.

00:26The main reason for this is the rapid increase in the price of food and non-alcoholic beverages,

00:33as well as transportation including gasoline and diesel.

00:36This is the third month in a row of rapid inflation this year.
