00:00Pang Sok Thao asserted that she only wanted to be a public proxy

00:05in the face of Dr. Afif Bahadin's unilateral attack

00:08which brought her and Ngal Komeng

00:10to the election of a candidate for PRK Kuala Kumpur Baharu.

00:14As a loyal employee of the former Minister of Home Affairs and Government,

00:19Pang rejected Afif's claim that she was Ngal's proxy

00:22and considered her as a low-profile woman leader.

00:28When met with FMT in her campaign series, she explained

00:31that her service in the government was not only under Ngal,

00:34but she also started as a special employee for UBIN

00:38who was appointed as the Minister of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change

00:42from 2018 to 2020.

00:46These experiences are very important to me to serve the people.

00:51So if I have anyone's proxy, I want to be a KKB citizen's proxy,

00:56not just any proxy.

00:58And I think that's one of the reasons why young people don't want to be a politician.

01:04Because young people don't want to be just any proxy.

01:07And I think that Dr. Afif's statement is a statement that

01:12very low-profile for women.

01:15I believe that women can also stand tall,

01:18sit low with male leaders.

01:22Pang also rejected Afif's claim that she was labelled as an outsider

01:26because she was from Ampang and didn't care about the fate of the people

01:30in Kuala Kubur Baharu if she was elected as an MP in the next 11 months.

01:38As far as I know, if I'm not mistaken,

01:41she is the daughter of a Selangor and she was also an adun

01:45to Seberang Jaya for the two Bengkaw.
