00:00The Minister of the Ministry of Law and Reformation, Azalina Osman Said, said personally that she opposed the request for a voting ban to be made by the State Prosecutor's Office to prevent people from discussing Najib Razak's Titah Addendum.
00:18She said that the voting ban should not be imposed, given that it has become a public domain and is likely to be discussed in the People's Court next month.
00:31However, she admitted that the State Prosecutor's Office has its own reasons for requesting the ban and pressuring the court to allow free action in the matter.
00:43Formerly, the highest-ranking workers' councilor, Puan Zarkashi, warned that a court order banning early discussion on Najib's efforts to force the government to implement an additional order on housing protection would only worsen the government's trust deficit.
01:02She said it has sparked speculation and negative assumptions on social media, as well as damaging government credibility.
