00:00I'm here at Bargain Clearance Store in Washington for their grand opening.

00:05As you can see we've already got large queues forming ahead of the doors opening.

00:155 o'clock this morning.

00:19There you go mate. There's £100 in vouchers for you.

00:22Get yourself down, grab a bargain.

00:24Eh? Eh?

00:26I've got a box of cheese.

00:36Lovely, lovely.

00:40So what do you think of the new Bargain Clearance Store then?

00:42I think it's great. It's easy to get to. There's plenty of parking.

00:46There's things for everybody, young and old. I think it's going to be a big success.

00:50Did you used to go to the old store?

00:52I did. I used to go to the old one.

00:54The parking wasn't that good and there wasn't as many things to buy.

00:57So this is great. Good for the area.

00:59Have you got anything else to put your eye on as you're walking around?

01:02I'm just having a look for the first time round and then I'll do another loop and go back and pick some things up.

01:08Do you always get a bargain when you come here?

01:10Well it's the first time I've come here but the old place I have had bargains so that's great.

01:16Okay, so what do you make of the new store so far then?

01:18There's lots more room and there's some good bargains to be had.

01:22So what have you been getting yourself so far then?

01:24Some toothbrushes, £15, some Paul Washington surface cream.

01:32Did you used to go to the old store?

01:34Yeah, yeah.

01:35Is it better than that at the moment?

01:37Yeah, there's a lot more space, a lot more.

01:40Do you always get yourself a bargain when you come here?

01:42Every time.

01:45So what do you make of the new store then?

01:48The new store is better than the old store.

01:50You get a lot more bargains here now than what you did in the old store.

01:53There's a lot more products, a lot more to choose from.

01:56And what have you been buying so far then?

01:58I've been buying a lot of the Spanish products and stuff like that.

02:00I buy all the Spanish products.

02:01It's cheaper here to buy than anywhere else and they're really good products.

02:17Okay then Lee, what's it like to be opening a new store then?

02:19Yeah, it's absolutely brilliant.

02:21Glad we're all relieved, all the staff are relieved and everything.

02:24That we've got the store eventually opened.

02:26It's took a couple of months to get there but we're there eventually.

02:30And what sort of response have you had today in terms of customers coming through the door?

02:33Yeah, it's been absolutely brilliant.

02:34We've had queues out the door since we opened.

02:38There must be at least a few hundred customers in so far.

02:40I understand.

02:41One person has come through the door.

02:43Yes, yeah, the first guy who was here this morning.

02:45He's been waiting since 5 o'clock this morning for us to open.

02:48He won some vouchers I believe?

02:50Yes, we gave him £100 worth of in-store vouchers for being the first person through the door.
