00:00World Bank? What is the World Bank?

00:02Development of education in the field of education.

00:05I think one thing, aside from the report, we also have to look at initiatives and the

00:13efforts that are being carried out by the Ministry of Education in Malaysia.

00:16That's why I said earlier, aside from the World Bank report, we also have to look at

00:21developments and reports from the Malaysia Education Development Plan, which we have

00:27released last year.

00:28And the report also shows a large part of the achievements, the progress that we are

00:34making, and the issues that we are dealing with in the Ministry of Education in Malaysia.

00:39So we must always be optimistic about this education.

00:42And what kind of report to sell means that we have to look at and handle with full

00:49transparency and progressive actions.

00:53I want to emphasize that we at the Ministry of Education in Malaysia have announced

00:57our education reform earlier.

00:59First, with the establishment of a special administration to investigate the issues

01:05and implement this reform immediately.

01:08As an example, the pre-school administration.

01:11We have implemented the expansion of pre-schools.

01:13In 2023 and 2024, it will be the year of expansion of pre-schools at the KPM institution

01:20in Malaysia.

01:21And also related to curriculum intervention, recent STEM development, digital and also

01:28TVET, which we are giving priority.

01:30Likewise, with Malay language, linking Malay and English.

01:35So everything I mentioned earlier and the issues raised in the World Bank report,

01:41we have actually handled it at the level of the Ministry of Education in Malaysia,

01:45in a proactive and quite progressive way.

01:47So, God willing, hopefully, I think we will continue to work hard to ensure that all

01:54these administrations move and achieve the goal and quality of education that we want.
