Almost 30 pilot whales have died and more than 100 are being monitored at sea, following a mass stranding event on Western Australia's southwest coast. Hundreds of people joined the rescue effort at Toby Inlet near the tourist town of Dunsborough, 240 kilometres southwest of Perth.
