03:07According to a survey of these personal romance chatbot apps, all but one sell or share your personal data

03:13in fact last year Italy's Data Protection Authority threatened a 20 million euro fine and

03:19Told Replica that they had to stop processing personal data

03:23And in addition some Replica users said that their bots were being sexually aggressive

03:28this led to an update on the app that left many of the users brokenhearted and

03:33Complaining that their chatbots had lost their personalities. So maybe falling in love with AI isn't the right thing for you

03:40But what about having AI fall in love for you

03:44That's what some apps like this one are doing

06:02Have felt some sort of burnout or emotional fatigue from it

06:05I've been so frustrated with dating apps until I found this one swiping just through photos is really shallow

06:10Honestly, not to mention the initial messages are always so long and so short

06:16So apps like this claim that they can help users skip those awkward and tedious first interactions and get them on their way to

06:24Creating real relationships plus dates can be expensive

06:27Why not have AI take care of that for you?

06:29But AI isn't just about finding that special someone it can also be there to give you relationship advice

06:36Like this app, which was created by a Stanford grad. She had created a

06:41Chatbot to analyze the text conversations between her and her ex

06:46And it was so good that I decided to make this into a website

06:50And then you just go in put in any contact name press analyze and then you'll get an analysis kind of like this

06:57That inspired her to create this app and it blanks the relationship based on communication and compatibility and sexiness

07:06So my ex and I are 37% compatible and it also even tells you why it'll never work

07:10So another app that's dishing out romantic guidance is called Riz which is Gen Z slang for charisma

07:17It's basically a sexy chatbot that tells you exactly what to say to someone that you're texting with or

07:24Messaging with on a dating app to seem cool and interesting and charismatic

07:29Riz also has another feature where you can get pickup lines and it gives you basically like an opener

07:36Are you a frog because I want to kiss you and make you my princess. Oh, I like this one

07:47This is giving like a fun and witty reply and it's a little more than just yes, no

07:54Okay, there's a reason that this app has thousands of active users on the other hand knowing that this was written by AI

08:01This really sounds like it has classic AI all over it. Like I feel like this smells like AI

08:08So if you're in the online dating pool, chances are you've already interacted with AI in some way or another

08:14Apps like hinge and tinder are already using it for things like match suggestions and behavioral analytics

08:20Even though traditional dating app downloads saw a drop in 2023. The industry is still huge

08:25Global revenue is projected to reach three and a half billion dollars by 2028

08:31And for better or for worse AI is going to be part of our love lives
