00:12 Operations Ahmad Muklis Mokhtar said firefighters and several assets were deployed to the affected

00:18 locations, namely Jalan Jati, Kampung Melayu Subang and Kampung Kubu Gajah, to monitor

00:23 the situation closely. In a statement, Ahmad Muklis said checks indicated that water levels

00:29 rose from 0.3 to 0.6 metres but he assured that the situation was under control. He attributed

00:36 the flooding to overflow from nearby rivers, noting that water levels were gradually receding.

00:42 Ahmad Muklis added that no evacuations were deemed necessary for either location.

00:51 The Malaysian Meteorological Department, or MET Malaysia, had earlier forecasted heavy

00:56 rainfall in Selangor, Perak, Negeri Sembilan and Melaka until 6pm.
