00:02 Yeah, I knew about it. I think they went crazy. I saw her rider. All she wants is Diet Coke.
00:08 She's my best friend. My whole refrigerator is filled with Diet Coke for her.
00:11 Really? I love that.
00:12 But she wasn't like, she doesn't like fancy stuff. She likes frozen yogurt and Diet Coke and she can live on that for the rest of her life.
00:18 So I don't really understand what happened there and I know she was invited, so I don't really know.
00:22 Was she upset about it?
00:23 She was. But you know, in a good way. She was like, "I don't think it was fair."
00:26 And I don't think Bravo did that. I don't blame Bravo. I blame the press. When it's a slow press week, they'll find something.
00:35 You know that. You're a weekly. But I just think it was a little too extreme.
00:39 And she's got another show coming out, you're going to hear about it on Amazon soon.
00:43 She's going to be on The Goat, which is going to be an amazing show. You're going to really love it.
00:48 I love seeing Jill back on our screen. Congratulations on this brand new show on The CW.
00:53 Patti Sanger, The Matchmaker. I love it.
00:56 Thank you. Thank you so much.
00:57 How are you feeling about this? It's new, it's fresh.
01:00 It's a very different departure from Millionaire Matchmaker. There are elements of Millionaire Matchmaker and I am so grateful to Bravo for that.
01:05 And you can stream it right now on Netflix.
01:08 But this was more of every person calling me post-pandemic and going, "What the F is going on? Why am I still single? I'm 18, I'm 80."
01:18 And it was just like, you know, we were learning about ancestral trauma, we were learning about attachment styles, we were learning about narcissism.
01:25 It was like there's so many things that my women were not being protected in.
01:31 And due to that kind of a crisis, CW gave me free reign to create a show that's going to break all your patterns in love.
01:39 It's really exciting. It's breaking new ground on television.
01:42 Because we have like Love is Blind and we have The Bachelor. And even though my co-host is Nick Vowell from The Bachelor, there wasn't shows like teaching us.
01:51 It's funny and it's funny and do they get together and it's like a social experiment.
01:55 But what about those people at home who are not getting out of the house and meeting anyone?
01:59 No, that's so right. I think that so many people tune in to you because they want those tools and they want to know how can I apply this into my own life.
02:05 So what would you say are those tools that you're teaching in this show?
02:08 I was just talking about this because I came off a breakup, a very horrific breakup.
02:12 And then I had to go into shooting and I was like, "Ugh."
02:15 And I was calling on my friends, like one of them was Marisa Peer, the famous hypnotherapist.
02:19 And I was like, "What do we do? What do we do?"
02:21 And she's like, "First of all, where did your love life go wrong?"
02:26 I want you to write it down.
02:28 Like I did this with Kenya Moore on Millionaire Mad Trigger.
02:31 I'm like, "She kept getting cheated on."
02:33 Okay, so when did that go wrong? What were your thoughts? Who in your family cheated on someone?
02:38 And then now let's undo this. Why do you believe that has to happen for you?
02:41 And when you see signs of it, why don't you leave? Why don't you leave?
02:45 The second thing is on a first date, ask the guy what are you looking for?
02:50 Get the information.
02:52 If he says, "I just want to have fun and travel the world," he's not your guy if you want to get married and have kids.
02:57 But we don't ask questions because women are afraid to make waves.
03:01 And then the third thing, I think the most important thing, is that stay the course to what you want
03:06 and don't get deviated just because he's hot, has money, whatever.
