00:00Oh my gosh, it's always me. It's always me. He had his first day of preschool on my opening night
00:06of Funny Girl. So I literally dropped him off for the first time that morning and then went
00:12and returned to Broadway that evening. So it was such a crazy, like full circle day.
00:20You know, he went to camp, he does a little like camp and went on a bus for the first time,
00:26like a school bus and got on the bus the other morning. And I turned to my husband and I was
00:30like, I'm hysterical. So definitely I'm, I'm the emotional one for sure. I'm so excited for the
00:39show. I cannot wait. I can't wait for audiences to see this show. Nick and Aaron, my co-stars are
00:45so unbelievably talented and we are really about to bring something very special to the stage. So
00:51I can't wait for everyone to see that. This is my sixth Broadway show. I have been performing
00:57on Broadway for 30 years now, returning to the stage that I, the same theater that I made my
01:03Broadway debut in when I was eight years old. So this is really an unbelievable and very exciting
01:08moment. You know, I'm constantly learning and growing and asking advice from moms around me,
01:16working mothers, like, you know, how do you do this and how do you balance it all? And just,
01:21you know, really trying to prepare my family as best as I can for me approaching work and keep
01:27myself as present as possible when I'm home with my family. And then as present as I can be,
01:32um, when I'm, you know, at work, it's not about perfection. It's about being present.
01:38That's what I just try to remember as much as I can.
