Don Dale riot sees kids on roof, officer injured by projectile

Darwin's Don Dale youth detention centre remains under lockdown tonight after a riot saw a police officer taken to hospital and a building set alight. More than a dozen youths scaled the walls of the centre, pelting projectiles at emergency services as they attempted to negotiate with the detainees. The government is now facing mounting pressure to open its long-promised replacement to the centre.
