Dogs understand more than you think

Researchers in Hungary prove that dogs understand the names of objects like we do and they're not just reacting based on the context.

00:12 owners and their pooches to a laboratory.

00:17 The owners brought five objects that their dogs knew well. Sometimes the owner

00:23 would present the object and say its correct name while other times they

00:31 would say the wrong object name.

00:35 The scientists hypothesized that if dogs can visualize an object when they hear

00:46 its name that would appear in the dog's brain responses which is exactly what

00:52 happened.

00:54 Turns out dogs knew when they were being tricked.
