00:00 I started volunteering about seven years ago when my eldest was in grade two.

00:09 I just wanted to help out because I'm here most days.

00:13 The whole gymnastics community is very friendly.

00:18 Everyone gets along with everyone.

00:19 Everyone is willing to help out.

00:20 The thing I like about it is the confidence that it's taught.

00:26 My daughter, she's very shy, but I think her confidence and determination.

00:33 And that's all gymnastics because when you're on the floor doing your floor routine, it's

00:40 You have to do it.

00:41 You can't rely on somebody else to help you out.
