Xiaomi, a popular tech brand in China, has introduced its new electric car, the SU7 sedan, joining the country's competitive electric vehicle market. The car was announced by founder Lei Jun, with prices ranging from 215,900 to 299,900 yuan ($30,000 to $40,000). Within the first 27 minutes of sales opening, Xiaomi received 50,000 orders through its app. With government support driving China's electric vehicle market, local manufacturers are now expanding into international markets, potentially competing with established European, Japanese, and American auto brands.
