Birmingham City Football Club is reportedly set to purchase land owned by the city council as the club aims to build a new stadium.
According to the BBC, the club's new American owners Knighthead Capital Management are set to purchase the Birmingham Wheels site, on Bordesley Park.

00:28 a mile away from the club's St Andrew's Stadium at the east of the city, the site called Wheels
00:33 Park where a former motor racing site, Go Kart Track, was located on the land. A City
00:39 Council spokesperson couldn't confirm who the buyer was at this stage but said the proposed
00:44 disposal will generate a capital receipt and the council will work with the purchaser to
00:49 connect the job and training opportunities created to the local community. Birmingham
00:55 City FC have declined to comment on the story.
