Federal Government investing $1 billion in solar panel manufacturing

The Prime Minister has declared Australia is on its way to becoming a renewable energy superpower as he committed the government to spending a billion dollars on solar technology. A former coal-fired power station in the New South Wales upper hunter will become a solar panel manufacturing hub.
