  • 27 giorni fa
"Goin' back Down South" was the result of the artistic association by harmonica stylist Charlie Musselwhite and West Coast blues guitarist Robben Ford. The album balances between progressive musical ideas and traditional blues, the recording also marked Musselwhite's guitar debut on an acoustic rendition of John Lee Granderson's "Taylor's, Arkansas".

Charlie Musselwhite - vocals, harmonica, acoustic guitar.
Robben Ford - guitar, saxophone.
Tim Kaihatsu - guitar.
Lafayette Leake, Skip Rose - piano.
Gerald Pederson, Karl Sevareid - bass.

Crazy for my baby.
Blue steel.
Take me back.
Blue Stu.
This old night life.
Taylor's, Arkansas.
Cut you loose.
If trouble was money.
On the spot boogie.
