'Hoar Frost!' - Enchanting sight of delicate ice crystals cosplaying as 'broken glass'
  • last month
"Have you ever stepped outside on a crisp winter morning to find the world transformed into a glittering wonderland?" the filmer, Dustin, asked the viewers.

"So, after hiking up to Lake Blanche, Utah, I came across ice hoars growing up on the snow," he told WooGlobe. "I filmed my hand gliding over them, resulting in a glass sound."

He went on to explain that this surreal spectacle is known as 'Hoar Frost' and it occurs once water vapors in the air freeze into delicate ice crystals, adorning everything they touch with feathery, sparkling beauty.
