US man stumbles upon rare 'needle ice' formation in Alaska

While on a walk in Coldfoot, Alaska, Nickolas Warner found a rare phenomenon named needle ice where small frozen pillars are created.
Needle ice is formed when water, above freezing point, underground rises as it meets the surface with a sub-zero temperature.
