Damon - album Song of a gypsy 1968 (1992)
  • mese scorso
1992 vinyl reissue of Damon's LP "Song of a gypsy" originaly released in 1968 by Damon (born David Del Conte) from Rochester, New York. Excellent psychedelic album, with lots of fzz guitar and a mystical feel, an example of exotica-folk-rock with a gyspy soul feeling, incapsulating the last blooms of the flower power movement while passing towards the haze of the 1970s underground.

Damon - vocasl, gypsy guitar.
Charlie Carey - guitar.
Atley Yeager - bass, backing vocals.
Richard Barham - Goblet drums.
Lee Pastora, Mike Pastora - percussion.
Helena Vlahos - finger cymbals.
Carl Zarcone - drums.

Song of a gypsy.
Poor, poor Genie.
Don't you feel me?
Did you ever?
Funky, funky blues.
Do you?
The night.
I feel your love.
Birds fly so high.
Road of life.
