Ivory is a one-album Californian (from Hollywood, Los Angeles) psycho-folk trio from the Al Schmitt stable produced by Jefferson Airplane. This album has been called "the best Jefferson Airplane style album not created by the Jeffersons themselves... The group broke up after Mike McCauley was drafted into the army, where he was wounded in Vietnam... Christina Christman released a solo album ( Woman Of The World in 1975) , then married and left the music business.
