Nothin's Gonna Stop Us Now is the third single and title track from Tom Curtain's Chart-topping fifth album, which was released in October 2022.
When asked what inspired the song, Tom said: "This was new territory for me; writing a love song. I wanted a song about the idea that no matter what challenges you face in this world, love conquers all. With the right person by your side, supporting and cheering for you, anything is possible. I am really lucky to have this with my beautiful wife Annabel."
Tom teamed up renown Australian Country Music Producer, songwriter and long-time friend Garth Porter to write and record this song.
Tom had the idea to film the video on a salt lake with two people dancing. As the song was quite different to his usual work, he wanted the clip to reflect this. He was on tour at the time and had a few days spare in South Australia. He spent the majority of these days scanning aerial maps and driving around South Australia searching for the perfect salt lake which he eventually located about two hours north of Adelaide.
He engaged the Dance Alive Company in Adelaide who choreographed the dance and provided dancers for the clip.
