When seekers set out on the road to find what they long for, this passionate search can seem to take an eternity. For musician Timothy Jaromir and singer Rykka, it took years until they came face to face and were able to share the experience of bringing their first baby into the world: Goldschatz, an electrifying blues-folk duo, an affair of the heart, the fusion of two talents who take the most precious and personal things out of their musical treasure chest and reveal them directly to their audience.

Sounds like Hollywood, but it's true: The duo Goldschatz wrote their first single "Thick As Thieves" on their honeymoon to the South. On the back seat of their bus. Behind them, the setting Tuscan sun. "Thick As Thieves" is a foretaste of the debut album "Salt of the Sea", which the duo is currently hard at work on. To make the recordings, Goldschatz travelled to Toronto so that they could work together with producer David Gavan Baxter. The resulting piece of Americana is a love-song with a headwind. A road movie for your ears. A song that will get you drumming on the steering wheel and setting off together into the sunset.
