Driver jailed for 16 years for killing Melbourne road worker

A Melbourne man has been sentenced to 16 years in jail for the hit-and-run death of a road worker in Melbourne’s south. Jason Mark Ruscoe was driving on a disqualified licence when he caused a deadly crash in Carrum downs and fled the scene actions a judge has described as "appalling" and "shameful."
