Former Chelsea Hardman Left Red-Faced after Losing Battle with Punching Machine Leaving in Hysterics

FORMER Chelsea star Frank Sinclair was left red-faced after a run-in with a punching machine.

The 52-year-old went out in Blackpool for Mother's Day.

While on the pier, Sinclair decided to have a go on the punching machine.

As a former athlete, the ex-Jamaica international would have fancied his chances at a good score.

His efforts didn't quite go to plan, as he endured a moment to forget.

After connecting with the punching bag, Sinclair slipped on the wet wooden floor.

Having fallen over, the former Stamford Bridge hero smiled sheepishly at the camera.

Posting his unfortunate moment to social media, Sinclair wrote: "Blackpool hasn’t quite gone to plan, but happy Mother’s Day all you knock-out mums doing your thing."

Former West Ham stars Nigel Quashie and Carlton Cole both replied with laughing emojis.

And Sinclair's ex-team-mate Paul Canoville added: "Too much power Frank - a knockout."

Plenty of fans were also left in hysterics.

One wrote: "Brilliant Frank…! Have a great day.."

While a second commented: "Quality Frank."

A third joked: "Get to the bowling alley Frank!!"

And another added: "VAR review Frank…."

Sinclair played 205 times for Chelsea between 1990 and 1998 - winning an FA Cup, League Cup, and Uefa Cup Winners' Cup with the Blues.

He went on to represent West Brom, Leicester, and Burnley - and also earned 28 caps for his country.
