Watch Tyson Fury DESTROY Punching Machine Challenge and Put Anthony Joshua’s Record to Shame

TYSON FURY destroyed the drilling machine challenge, sending a clear message to Anthony Joshua.

The WBC champion was filmed hitting the target with his weaker left arm, but still scored a record 993.

By comparison, when AJ attended Graham Norton's show in 2017, he scored 848.

Although it must be said, each machine is different, which makes any comparison difficult to measure.

Whatever the pair scored on the punching machine will count for little if they end up sharing the ring this year.

Fury, 34, surprisingly turned his attention to AJ after Oleksandr Usyk, 35, ruled himself out of an uncontested fight to heal an injury.

And Joshua has since conceded a 60/40 split for a title shot on December 3 in Cardiff, with the official paperwork to send him.

Fury promoter Frank Warren told talkSPORT: “Contracts are on the way.

“But I'm not going to go into detail about this because we saw what happened last time with people making statements and all of that and it all fell apart.

“This fight won't start until it's signed, but everyone wants it to happen.

“There is no bump in the road, so hopefully we can get through it very quickly, but until it's signed, it's not in place.

“When you are a promoter, you are optimistic. That's what you do. You're in the business of trying to make events happen, so we're all excited about that.

"I'm excited about that as a fight because I always felt like Tyson got the beating from AJ and now we're going to find out if we get through this."
