00:00 Welcome back to the Upper Austria Judo Grand Prix in stunning Linz. A perfect blend of
00:06 nature, culture and adventure. We're here for the final day of this exciting event and
00:11 it's the heavyweights turn to shine. Local stars Aaron Fara and Mikaela Poirieres were
00:16 busy around the arena meeting the fans before the final block. On the tatami, Ivan Filipe
00:22 Silva Morales of Cuba scored two Wazari's in quick succession to take the title in the
00:27 under 90 kilo category with Spain's Tristani Mossack Ligvili having to settle for silver.
00:33 An amazing moment for the Cuban, IJF refereeing supervisor Manuel Cortes awarded the medals.
00:55 In the under 78 kilo class Anna Montaolic defeated Yulia Kurchenko with the Wazarian
01:00 Golden score to take her second gold medal of 2024. What a start to the year for the
01:06 young German athlete. Cathy Fleury, IJF refereeing supervisor was on hand to award the medals.

01:31 champion Fonseca faced off against Leonardo Goncalves. The Brazilian scored a well-timed
01:36 Wazarian Golden score to take his second gold in Austria, defending the title he won here
01:41 in Linz last year. Awarding the medals was IJF head referee director Armin Bakdasarov.
01:49 In the over 78 kilo class Beatrice Sosa took home the gold after this impressive epon,
01:56 her first Grand Prix gold medal. IJF refereeing supervisor Giuseppe Maddaloni
02:06 awarded the medals. In the over 100 kilo category, the Brazilian
02:18 was a battle between two giants, 2022 world champion Andy Grandin and two-time world and
02:24 Olympic champion Lukas Kripolek. Kripolek forced Grandin to submission and the gold
02:29 medal was his. A passionate celebration from the Czech judoka and a lovely moment with
02:35 his travelling fans. Awarding the medals was IJF head sport director Vladimir Barta.
02:45 Creating great moments with their fans, the heavyweight Austrian judoka lit up the arena
02:49 with some amazing judo. The highlight being Lauren Boiler's bronze medal win with a fantastic
