00:00 Oh my god, you have no idea how much I am excited after like really we waited a long

00:09 Finally, it comes out and I'm so happy to share this moment and films with the audience

00:17 and I'm so excited that it's going to go out for theaters.

00:23 And for a film like that, it's a family that we finally need during these times.

00:30 So it's super exciting.

00:35 Because I think Arthur the King is based on an incredible true story and what makes it

00:43 like really original and different because it's based on a true incident that happens

00:50 and the whole story of Arthur and the whole story of the adventure racing together when

00:55 a dog insists to have home and to communicate and to seek for love.

01:06 And this whole thing makes it original and unique.

01:12 When I heard the story for the first time, it was like it touched my heart.

01:16 I said this is what I want to do.

01:18 It's been like a long time.

01:20 I didn't really, this is my first time I actually do something like that, adventure racing and

01:25 with the story of a dog and a family.

01:28 This is the most important thing, these kind of films that I like.

01:32 And then finally, my kids couldn't watch all my films because it's not for their age.

01:38 And now, finally we can watch it all together.

01:43 First of all, when I watched the movie, I was really blown away by it.

01:45 I truly, truly think this is such a great film and it's such a great movie to take your

01:50 family and if you love, whether you love animals or you just love a great movie about sports

01:56 and excitement and teamwork, it's a great time and it's exciting.

02:01 I think the word of mouth will really carry for this movie.

02:05 We definitely want to be a family movie, but at the same time, it's not like we're a white

02:11 picket fence family.

02:13 This is a sports movie and so it's got all the excitement of a sports movie.

02:17 It's got adventure racers in it.

02:18 We shot it in the Dominican Republic, so it's really the story of this team that treks through

02:24 like hundreds of miles of incredible terrain and locations in the DR and then comes across

02:29 this dog, totally unexpected, totally not by chance, totally by chance and just falls

02:35 in love.

02:36 Like every single one of us fall hopelessly in love with this dog.

02:40 This is, yeah, this is Chopa.

02:42 She's from the DR and I adopted her from this movie, which is a pretty incredible experience

02:49 and it's fun.

02:50 It's fun, isn't it?

02:52 Doing red carpets and being a little bougie Hollywood dog.

02:55 I think it's an incredible story about teamwork and perseverance and then it's just such a

03:00 heartwarming story about man's best friend.

03:04 I'm so excited.

03:05 I mean, we shot this movie like three years ago and so the fact that people finally get

03:11 to share in this wholesome story is just really exciting and it really gets you in the feels.

03:21 I think the fact that this is also based on a true story or a true event and it's like

03:29 an adoption story of a dog is always very exciting and happy, but this is kind of epic,

03:38 like almost unbelievable.

03:39 You feel like this is something that's written in movies when actually this happened in real

03:45 life and it's kind of unbelievable.

03:48 One of the main reasons to go is that you can go see it with your whole family.

03:52 Like it's a real family outing movie and everyone will feel good afterwards and I think that's

03:57 the first thing.

03:58 I think the second thing is that it has it all.

04:01 It's adventure, it's action, it's friendship, it's family.

04:07 It was terrifying, but also really exhilarating and that's why this adventure, sort of racing,

04:13 extreme sport thing is so popular because you're like, I'm terrified, but yet this is

04:17 so exciting.

04:18 But I think what's so great about this movie as an actor is that everything is really practical.

04:25 I really went down that zip line.

04:27 I really had to stop in the middle of that zip line.

04:30 I really had to hang there and wait for help, obviously, like for Mark to come and join

04:35 me and we really felt those things.

04:42 You know, Arthur, he was a very special dog and I think if I would be a dog, I would be

04:49 Arthur and if he would be a human, it would be me.

04:53 I think that's a connection that happens maybe once in a lifetime.

04:57 I was lucky to find my love in Ecuador, in the jungle, through a race and I did everything

05:03 I could in my power to get him back to Sweden and I did that with my team and my family

05:11 and we had six fantastic years together.

05:14 And now to have this movie coming out is fantastic for the story of Arthur, but it's also fantastic

05:22 for all the other Arthurs that are still out there.

05:26 You're going to see Arthur the King if you want to have an experience, emotional experience.

05:32 It's actually, it looks like an action story and it kind of is, but it's a love story and

05:39 it's also like, challenge your values, what's important in life and I think the first thing

05:45 you will do when you come out from the theatres is you're going to hug your family or call

05:51 your dad or mother and the next stop will be a dog shelter to get your own Arthur.

05:57 Okay, so many people want to share this story and be a part of it, so that's why we started

06:02 the Arthur Foundation and the goal was to reach, you know, to support the Loba Law in

06:07 Ecuador and it took four years and 2018 we managed that and that was kind of the end

06:14 of that job, but today we are more using Arthur Foundation to help promote other like super

06:21 good cool places like this or shelters and stuff like that, so yeah.

06:27 This is why we're here, it's because of the dogs and they are, you know, a big part of

06:33 the human's life and always been and will be and I think it's natural to be in this,

06:38 a place like this and it's fantastic here to do the, to see here and go around and people

06:43 build up this amazing place.
