Headlines for Manchester February 29: Transport for Greater Manchester plans to improve three Greater Manchester towns, 700+ jobs available at Manchester Airport fair & Manchester to host MTV European Music Awards 2024.

00:06 Transport for Greater Manchester has announced a series of proposals designed to improve
00:11 journeys in three Greater Manchester towns.
00:14 The plans for Hayward, Royton and Ashton-under-Lyne are hoped to benefit journeys for walkers,
00:19 cyclists and bus users.
00:22 More than 700 roles will be available at Manchester Airport Jobs Fair in March.
00:27 The roles will be available across many airport sectors, including security and hospitality.
00:34 And finally, Manchester has been announced as the host city for the MTV European Music
00:38 Awards 2024.
00:41 Manchester's brand new, music-first venue Co-op Live has been selected as the host for
00:45 the awards and the ceremony will take place on Sunday 10th November this year.
