Headlines for Manchester February 16: Manchester to host first ever Northern Music Awards, Plans to improve walking routes around city centre to Etihad stadium & Manchester Airport’s Crowne Plaza Hotel has reopened after renovation.

00:11 The inaugural Nordoff and Robbins Northern Music Awards will take place at Albert Hall

00:16 and will feature a line-up of legends and up-and-coming artists.

00:21 Manchester City Football Club and Co-op Live have unveiled joint plans to improve walking

00:25 routes in their part of Manchester.

00:28 The plans are hoped to regenerate a route between city centre neighbourhoods and the

00:32 Etihad Stadium.

00:34 And finally, the Crowne Plaza hotel at Manchester Airport has reopened following an £8m refurbishment.
