The covid inquiry currently taking place in Cardiff has found that First Minister hopeful Vaughn Gething deleted WhatsApp messages during his time as health minister during the pandemic. A barrister for a bereaved families group say he used an automatic delete tool, but the Welsh government say no decisions were made over WhatsApp.

A group of three teenagers aged 14, 15 and 16 and four men all from London have been arrested after a robbery in a Tesco supermarket. Officers were called to the scene in Talbot Green in Rhondda Cynon Taff at 5:30 on Monday evening. Police say a group of 7 males stole a large quantity of phones and fled the scene.

Thousands of farmers have descended on Cardiff in protest to the Welsh government’s new farming subsidy plans. It includes rules that say farmers must use 10% of their land to plant trees. The Welsh government say the plans are not finalised and want to engage with farmers on final decisions.
