Boeing Ousts 737 Max Chief Ed Clark After High-Profile Fuselage Incident; Here Are All The Details

Boeing has reportedly fired Ed Clark, the chief of its 737 Max program, following the Alaska Airlines fuselage failure incident in January. A defective door plug on a Boeing 737 led to a mid-flight panel detachment and subsequent $30 billion drop in Boeing's market value due to safety concerns. Clark was the vice president of the MAX program and general manager of the Renton facility where the plane was assembled. His replacement will be Katie Ringgold, currently the vice president of 737 delivery operations. The firing comes as Boeing faces scrutiny over its response to the incident and oversight of safety issues.
