The burning of the 'Temple' in Derry. The project was created by artist David Best who has previously created structures at Burning Man in the Nevada Desert. The Kickstarter project was organised by Artichoke and the artist worked with dozens of local volunteers, to build the 72ft high structure. Thousands left messages and objects to departed loved ones and messages of hope and renewal before it was set alight at night in a ceremony witnessed by thousands.
