00:00 My mission is to help as much as possible families that lost their close members

00:07 and still believe in peace.

00:09 For me, this is the highest level of humanity.

00:12 The peace building can't come from one side without the other.

00:17 If you want peace, we can do it alone.

00:19 We need Israeli women that really believe in peace.

00:23 [Music]

00:51 So when we talk about the Palestinian women that are in the political arena,

00:55 they are very few.

00:56 And this is, you know, the mission of Women of the Sun,

01:00 to reach and to raise awareness of the Palestinian women,

01:04 to raise these roles.

01:06 So the political awareness is not for men only.

01:10 I used to say that there is no power in the world

01:13 that will stop a mother to take care of her kids.

01:17 We are so strong.

01:19 We are so patient.

01:21 We have such great talent to speak, to understand.

01:35 Maybe the only good thing that happened from these

01:40 terrible and unneeded and awful days,

01:45 now everybody understands we have to take care of this.

01:49 It's like, you know, we go back to the first school.

01:53 We lost around 27 women in Gaza.

01:56 Many of them, we lost them with their families and children.

02:00 And others, they are in the refugee places in Gaza.

02:04 The situation was very bad.

02:06 But we believe that, you know, the war will stop and we will continue.

02:11 And we hope, you know, that life will go back to what it was in,

02:15 or even better.

02:24 We are so similar and we have so many things that we can agree about.

02:31 Really, the solutions are on the table.

02:34 Really, you just need the courage to do it.

02:38 Our demand is to get freedom as the community and as a people.

02:42 And just live peacefully, us and our children.
