Ahead of night one of The 1975's London shows, some dedicated fans set up camp at the venue over the weekend for a chance to see the group up close at the barricade.

00:00 London's O2 Arena has been taken over by fans of the 1975 this week as the band start their four show stint in the city.

00:07 Some dedicated fans have even set up camp at the iconic music venue for a chance to see the group up close at the barricade.

00:14 We caught up with Hallie and Bridie who are just a few of the campers outside the venue.

00:18 What night are you here for?

00:19 Night three.

00:20 I am here for night three.

00:22 How long have you been here?

00:23 Since 8am this morning.

00:25 Since about 8 o'clock this morning I'd say.

00:27 What's the reason behind camping out?

00:29 It's just fun to get barrier. I know it sounds silly but people do it for their favourite artists.

00:35 I find it to be more fun to be at the front.

00:40 Obviously being at the back can be so much fun but I feel like if you have the time it would be a fun way to spend the concert.

00:48 I've been to a few 1975 shows. I've been going since I was 15 years old and I'm 21 this year.

00:54 I have never ever been front row barricade. I've been sat down and it's been unreal.

00:59 I've been in the back of the pit. It's been unreal.

01:01 I think I owe it to my teenage self to be that front row and be that close to the guys for once in my life.

01:08 If I can say I've done it, I've done it. It's a story to tell my kids when I'm older.

01:12 Is there any songs you're definitely wanting them to play this evening?

01:16 It's so unbelievable. They'll never do it but I'm just desperate to hear Antichrist.

01:21 I'm just desperate but it's not going to happen. Maybe a Me and You Together song. Something like that.

01:27 The Ballad of Me and My Brain. I've already had this conversation. The Ballad of Me and My Brain is one that I really, really want to hear.

01:32 Heads, Cars, Bending as well as another one I really want to hear.

01:36 I do really want to hear Jesus Christ 2005 but that is on the set list I think. Newly on the set list.

01:43 Fingers crossed I'm getting that which I'm quite hopeful for. The other ones, not too sure.

01:47 Obviously I would really like to hear Antichrist but that's just not going to happen so I'm going to let that dream go.
