Bano Qudsia (1928–2017) was a prominent Pakistani Urdu-language novelist, playwright, and spiritualist. She was born on November 28, 1928, in Ferozepur, British India (now in Punjab, India). Bano Qudsia was widely regarded as one of the most significant and influential literary figures in the Urdu language.
Some of her notable works include novels like "Raja Gidh," "Hasil Ghaat," and "Amarbail." "Raja Gidh" is considered a classic in Urdu literature and is known for its deep philosophical and psychological themes. Bano Qudsia also wrote several plays for television, including the popular drama serial "Hawa Kay Naam."
Apart from her literary contributions, Bano Qudsia was recognized for her philosophical and spiritual views. She was the wife of Ashfaq Ahmed, another prominent Pakistani writer, and their literary partnership was well-known in the literary circles of Pakistan.
Bano Qudsia received various awards for her literary work, and her legacy continues to influence Urdu literature.

بانو قدسیہ کی تحریروں میں "راجہ گدھ"، "حاصل گھات" اور "امربیل" شامل ہیں۔ ان کا ناول "راجہ گدھ" اردو ادب میں ایک معروف کلاسک ہے جو زیادہ فلسفی اور نفسیاتی موضوعات پر مبنی ہے۔
بانو قدسیہ نے ٹیلیویژن کے لئے بھی مختلف ڈرامے لکھے، جیسے کہ "ہوا کے نام" جو بہت مقبول ہوا۔
