Boeing Faces Delivery Delays for 50 737s Due to 'Non-Conformance' Issue
  • 3 months ago
Boeing has delayed delivery of 50 737s after discovering a new "non-conformance" issue at its Renton, WA facility. This comes after the same factory stopped work last week to address issues from a MAX-9 door plug blowout on an Alaska Airlines flight. An internal Boeing memo said two holes on some fuselages may not have been drilled "exactly to our requirements." All fuselages at the Renton plant will be inspected before the delay ends, but it's unclear how long that will take.
