Noemie Fox hoping to join sister Jess at Olympics

Three-time Olympian Jess Fox is regarded as the greatest canoe slalom paddler of all-time, but she may not be the only fox, representing Australia at this year's Olympics.

00:20 Fox's older sister Jess has already earned selection for a record fourth Olympics in

00:25 the K1 and C1, meaning Noemi's only chance of making the team is in the Kayak Cross.

00:31 She'll compete at a global qualification event in June where only three Olympic spots are

00:37 on offer.

00:38 "From now it's just really building that confidence and working with that kind of boost of motivation

00:45 that I'm not as far behind as I think and I'm a pretty strong contender."

00:49 "So I'm really positive in saying let's give it a go, do your best, train hard and then

01:08 Jess collected four gold medals and a silver across both competitions while Noemi won four

01:20 Open or the Oceania Championships, it's like a world cup race, you know, we've got a really

01:26 Noemi's hoping to join her sister, mum and coach Miriam and dad Richard as an Olympian.

01:40 "Definitely really grateful for the relationship I have with her and how she just always finds
