Odin were a multinational band based in Germany formed of two Brits, one Dutch and one German. Their sound was formed of a mix of hard rock, with generous splash of progressive and some avant-garde, and ranged from slow, melancholic and melodic rock tunes to heavy-inspired riffage, with lots of experimentation and influences from some light jazz, as well as frequent winks to Zappa's sound.
