00:05 I'm happy, excited to be here. It's a dream come true to be a part of this ceremony,

00:14 be nominated with something that's really special to me, like my first album. So

00:19 I'm just excited. There's a lot more emotions, but excitement is one of them.

00:25 So talk to me about DATA, because I think what's really interesting about you being nominated for

00:30 it is that it's not just you, it's this network of collaborators and creatives that you built,

00:37 and they're all being lifted up with this too. So talk to me about the process of collaborating

00:42 and how it was to choose each collaborator. I mean, it was a journey. It was a tough

00:50 process, not in terms of being a crazy, bad energy, but it was more of thinking meticulously

00:59 each and every detail so it makes sense, finding the right sound so everything sounds cohesive.

01:06 After I get the sound, who fits better, each vibe, what am I missing from these tracks?

01:12 But just to have the trust and the effort of each one of the artists was amazing because

01:19 they just followed my lead and also gave me amazing input and just made the whole work a lot

01:26 easier. But it's tough. You're working on an album with so many different artists with so many

01:32 different things to say, but I'm so blessed for it to come out. And even though everybody's doing

01:40 their own thing, have their own sound, it still feels like it's a part of just one thing. So I'm

01:45 just happy that it was able to come out the way it did, that people received it and understood what

01:51 I wanted to say. That was something that I was kind of like, would it be too confusing or not?

01:57 But they really got the vision that I had and I'm just so happy for that and to see that it's

02:02 nominated here today. I couldn't ask for anything better. So you know what I think is really

02:07 interesting also about this era for you is that you really got to, I guess, follow any creative

02:13 lead it seems like, any inspiration, any sonic inspiration, visual. You just went for it. So now

02:19 what's there left? What's next? You know what I mean? I've thought about that because I tried to

02:26 do as much as I could because I wanted to show as much of me as possible. Those different layers,

02:34 those different influences, those different ideas that I'm not able to do in every artist's project

02:40 because they're probably in a different headspace. But now we see where we're going from here. But

02:46 there's always something different. I'm always into learning about new things or into something

02:52 different the next week or discover something different. So I'm just excited to see what that

02:58 becomes. But for sure it's going to be something special that I'm going to put 100% of my effort

03:06 into it. So can't wait to see that. Something that I think is also super cool about you as an artist

03:12 is that I feel like you forge your own path. Nobody did it like Tiny. Nobody's doing it like

03:16 Tiny. So do you have any mentors in the industry? I mean I do. I have a lot. I have a lot that I

03:23 know and that I speak to and I have a lot that I have never met. But you know,

03:28 like also gave me inspirations or ideas on how to do certain things like a Pharrell Williams

03:33 and somebody that I've admired since I started. And even though I haven't worked with him,

03:38 I've spoken with him briefly, but just to see his growth and understand what he went through and

03:44 how he broke different boundaries as being a producer, becoming an artist and diving into

03:50 fashion and just all the amazing aesthetic that he brings was always really influential. But you

03:57 know, the Looney Tunes and Skrillex like nowadays, you know, Benny Blanco. There's so many, you know,

04:08 amazing producers that I also grab little things from them that I could apply to my work and learn

04:14 from them. I'm still a student to this day, even though I've been working for like since 2006. So

04:21 it's incredible that, you know, to think that I'm still like in my learning stage, but I am.

04:28 So I'm happy to continue to see where this keeps evolving and going. Well, it keeps you bringing
