Educating Marmalade (1982) (Episode 6)

Ep 6: Marmalade in Venice. After Marmalade inadvertently hospitalizes her parents, who end up in the same ward as her social worker Mrs Allgood (there due to a psychiatric breakdown), Marmalade is sent to Venice to study at Signora Bandolini's Finishing School for Girls. The rules there are on etiquette, deportment and how to be a lady - something Marmalade has no desire to be. But quite how she is going to get out of Venice?
Starring Charlotte Coleman, John Bird, Lynda La Plante, Gillian Raine, Joan Sims, Mary Maddox, Neil Dagliesh, plus the pupils played by Donna Spinal, Claire Callaghan, Tina Foley, Lisa Michelle Hopton, Goia Izquierdo and Julia Sawalha (do you get the feeling they used the same pupils for different schools, perchance?). This is not my own video, I may add, but kindly given me by Zack Smith to put in my album, so you have him to thank for these. It's also lovely to see Charlotte Coleman reunited with another Worzel Gummidge co-star in the vastly underrated Carry On star Joan Sims, here playing the increasingly exasperated Signora Bandolini.
