Six school friends in a rural village play out their game of Apaches, using the vast countryside and the farmland as their playground. But unbeknownst to them the countryside can be a trecherous place and soon the children discover just how dangerous it can really be.
Starring Robbie Oubridge, Ian Scrace, Wayne Tapsfield, Sharon Smart, Fion Smith and Louise O'Hara as the child stars. This was a famous Public Information film that warned children and adults alike of the dangers that lurked in the country, and used the experiences and deaths of real children for some of the scenarios that occur in this short drama. It is remarkably effective and lives long in the memory. Don't have nightmares.
