Bob Price's Fatal Crash @ Isle of Man 2014

Veteran road racer Bob Price, 65, was an experienced rider who first competed at the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy races in 1992. A car body repair shop owner from Stroud, Gloucester, he became a regular on the Manx Grand Prix Classic races.

On Monday, 02 June 2014 afternoon Bob Price took part in the first Supersport TT race, riding his Yamaha YZF-R6 600 cm3 #88 entered by team SP Electrical Stroud. It was his 19th start on the Snaefell Mountain Circuit. He had set the 75th qualifying time over 77 competitors, in 20min28.392, at an average speed of 110.574 mi/h (177.95 km/h).

Bob Price lost his life following a collision which happened on third lap of the 4-lap race. He came off his bike just after coming over the Ballaugh Bridge, 2.6-mile north of Kirk Michael, Isle of Man.
