Alaska Airlines Resumes 737 MAX 9 Flights After Completing Required Inspections
  • 3 months ago
Alaska Airlines resumed 737 MAX 9 flights on Friday after completing inspections of its 65 planes required by the FAA. Boeing President Stan Deal said the company is focused on improving quality to regain customer confidence. Deal acknowledged Boeing has "disappointed and let down" its customers, regulator, and the public. Deal said Boeing must deliver "perfect airplanes each time" to address issues behind the grounding. United Airlines and Alaska have canceled thousands of flights due to the subsequent inspections, after a panel was lost from a MAX 9 mid-flight on January 6th.
