Pemerintah telah menetapkan kuota impor gula di tahun 2024, sebesar 5,48 juta ton. Jumlah tersebut terdiri dari gula konsumsi sebesar 78.000 ton, dan gula pemenuhan bahan baku industri 4,77 juta ton.

00:48 There is also a lower volume of sugar consumption this year

00:52 compared to 2023, which reached 991,000 tons

00:57 or down by about 28.5%.

01:00 Nevertheless, the Ministry of Trade insisted

01:04 that the volume of sugar imports this year can still be increased.

01:07 The commodity quota can be evaluated every three months

01:11 so that when needed, the amount can be increased or reduced.
