00:37 talvolta assassinati per la sola colpa di aver svuoto il proprio lavoro. Perché il

00:42 24 gennaio? Perché in questa data, nel 1977, ebbe luogo il massacro di Atocha, ovvero

00:49 il massacro in cui vennero assassinati quattro Avvocati a Madrid, in Cagliatocha 55. Nell'ultimo

00:56 anno, all'interno del Loyad, è stato istituito il gruppo di lavoro sull'Iran, al quale quest'anno

01:02 è dedicata la giornata. Perché l'Iran? Perché la situazione dal settembre 2022 è drasticamente

01:09 peggiorata in seguito alla morte di Massamini, la giovane donna pestata a morte dalla Polizia

01:17 Morale perché indossava il velo in maniera inadeguata. Sono seguite proteste che ancora

01:24 proseguono in Iran. Gli arresti e i processi sommari a carico dei manifestanti sono all'ordine

01:31 del giorno. I difensori di cui scende in piazza non se la passano tanto meglio, tanto è vero

01:36 che dal settembre 2022 al maggio 2023 sono almeno 66 gli Avvocati arrestati, 5 gli Avvocati

01:44 uccisi e decine quelli feriti. Una storia sistematica di violazioni dei diritti umani

01:50 in Iran che si riassume nella figura di Nazrin Sotoudeh, l'Avvocata condannata a 38 anni

01:56 di carcere, 148 frustate, e da poco scarcerata dopo l'ennesimo arresto arbitrario. In chiusura

02:59 vita anche professionale, Vittoria?

03:02 Nel giorno di oggi in Kharkiv tutti i tribunali funzionano, tranne quello della città di

03:20 Kupyansk. Lei ci sta raccontando delle difficoltà morali che provavano i difensori in considerazione

03:38 della difesa dei soggetti che collaboravano durante l'occupazione dei territori con i

03:46 russi. La medesima situazione si è realizzata in considerazione dei prigionieri catturati

03:54 dagli ucraini facenti parte dell'esercito russo. A tal riguardo ci sono stati molti

04:02 dubbi, tuttavia hanno preso una decisione non facile di trattarli con legalità, sempre

04:13 osservando il principio di diritto secondo alle convenzioni e accordi internazionali

04:20 di cui fa parte l'Ucraina. Pertanto gli Avvocati hanno prestato regolarmente la difesa sia

04:30 ai collaboranti del regime di Putin sia ai prigionieri di guerra, facendo il medesimo

04:40 ragionamento che qualsiasi soggetto, se sia un criminale di guerra, comunque deve avere

04:52 un difensore. Ci spostiamo in Russia con l'Avvocato Denis Shchedov, difensore del dissidente

04:58 russo Alexei Gorinov, Avvocato a sua volta e primo cittadino russo condannato per aver

05:04 denunciato l'invasione in Ucraina. Siamo in compagnia dell'Avvocato Denis Shchedov,

05:11 che è il difensore di un altro Avvocato molto famoso in Russia, si tratta di Alexei Gorinov,

05:21 deputato municipale che è stato condannato a sette anni di carcere ed è il primo caso

05:29 di condanna in Russia per i cosiddetti falsi militari a seguito dell'introduzione di

05:36 una normativa liberticida che è entrata in vigore subito dopo l'entrata in guerra della

05:53 I have last information around the New Year Eve. Another my colleague, the lawyer who is

06:03 working directly with Alexei and visited him in the prison, he said that Alexei is better

06:14 because in the end of last year Alexei got very sick and he had very weak health condition

06:24 and unfortunately the authorities of the prison didn't help him, didn't provide any adequate

06:33 medical care and also didn't excuse him from some work in prison and all of this contributed

06:47 into a very very bad decrease in his health condition and we started to do some campaigns,

06:59 some media campaigns, some public campaigns to ask the authorities of the prison to provide

07:08 some medical care for Alexei and the prison authorities didn't tell us, they told "no,

07:15 we don't know where is Alexei" and we also tried to find Alexei in other prison in the

07:22 region and fortunately, actually in the Christmas day, in the 25th of December we found Alexei

07:33 in another prison, in the prison in Vladimir and Alexei was replaced there in the prisoner

07:41 hospital and he got some medical care and according to my colleague, another lawyer,

07:52 he was much better than previously but still all this medical measures in the prison, it's

08:06 not the solution for the problem, it's just some small support to keep Alexei alive but

08:25 major surgery on his left lung and he lost a part of it and because of it, imprisonment

08:35 and the condition in Russian prison but you know Russian prison has very very severe conditions,

08:51 The human rights in Iran have the face of a woman and they have the name of Nasrin Sotoudeh,
