Manchester City travel to Spurs in FA Cup Fourth Round

00:08 Manchester City haven't beaten them at Spurs since 2018. United got a draw that they probably

00:14 looked at and wanted, City maybe not. Especially with Guardiola, he's made comments that all

00:20 they want to do is score at Spurs as well. They've struggled to do that. What do you

00:25 see going into this one? It could be quite an exciting game because it's probably a competition

00:29 that you feel it's a competition that's quite important in Guardiola's eyes?

00:33 It's a good question. He was asked that a lot before the last game in the third round

00:39 against Huddersfield and he kind of said yes, but ultimately the Champions League and Premier

00:44 League are going to be the two big ones for City. I think that, yeah, they are really

00:49 an F.A. Cup holders. The moment they go out of the F.A. Cup, this season will already

00:54 be not as successful as last season. So they'll certainly want to move on. They're going to

00:57 come in to this one relatively fresh as well, obviously, given that they've had that two

01:02 week gap to the winter break. So yeah, I think they'll put a full strength side out. I think

01:08 that they'll be interesting. We're not sure if John Stones or Erling Haaland are going

01:11 to be back. They've obviously been back in training, but I know Stones didn't take part

01:15 in the full session. Not sure on Haaland, but I don't know if either are going to be

01:20 involved. I think that there's a feeling at City that Haaland should be eased back in.

01:24 But the last thing they want is for him to come back in, play and perhaps have to go

01:28 back out again with this kind of long-term nagging foot injury that has impacted him.

01:34 So we'll see on those two. I don't think Manuela Kanji is going to be involved for City, but

01:38 other than that, that's it in terms of absentee. So I think they'll go full strength, really

01:41 go for it. And then, yeah, you mentioned they have a poor record. They've lost on all five

01:47 occasions that they've played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. City has quite a remarkable

01:51 record for Guardiola. I think the interesting thing as well is that it's come against various

01:55 managers as well. It's come against Mourinho and Conte and Pochettino and Nuno Espirito

02:02 Santo as well. So it's really, it's not just one manager that he struggles against. It's

02:09 various managers. And so, yeah, it's interesting in that regard. But we'll have to see. And

02:13 look, I've never covered a game Spurs-City at Spurs. I'm going down on Friday night.

02:19 So if they win, I'm going to take all the credit and say that it's because I was there.

02:23 But we'll see in that one. But I think it'd be a really good game. I think both teams

02:26 will go for it. And Spurs obviously missing a lot of players at the moment as well. So

02:30 I think that's just sneakily, I'm just going to say that I think City will get through.
