A Melbourne woman has now completed an impressive 1,000 days in a row of open water swimming. Nearly all of her swims are at Seaford Beach in Port Phillip Bay.

00:18 Every morning, Nicole Chester swims out around the poles at Seaford Pier, about one and a

00:23 half kilometres. She hasn't missed a swim for one thousand days.

00:29 The experienced swimmer wants to send a message about being safe in the water.

00:38 going on out there. Every day can be a dangerous day.
