00:00 Hi, my name is Paige Johnson. I'm standing to be the Labor candidate for War Two in pre-selection.

00:06 So I'm running because I'm so proud of the city that Newcastle has become.

00:10 The smart, sustainable and progressive city.

00:13 And I'm ready to contribute to do more work to advance our city forward.

00:18 So as part of my background, I work as an engineer in local government.

00:22 And I really want to apply my skills to face the challenges that our city has as we grow and develop.

00:30 And something that's so important to me is, for me as a Labor Party member, is our values in Labor of fairness and equality.

00:39 I really want to contribute to Newcastle being a progressive city.

00:42 And I'm going to be out talking to Labor Party members over the next few weeks

00:47 and understand the issues that are important to them and seeking their support in pre-selection.
