00:06 Recently, YouTube titan MrBeast and ex-owner Elon Musk got into it over Twitter.
00:12 The drama between Musk and MrBeast started on December 30th when the creator tweeted
00:17 that he'd just uploaded a video.
00:19 An ex-user then responded to that tweet, writing "Upload on this platform too," and Elon
00:24 Musk agreed, chiming in with a simple "yeah."
00:27 MrBeast did not dance around anything when he responded to Musk bluntly, stating "My
00:31 videos cost millions to make, and even if they got a billion views on X it wouldn't
00:36 fund a fraction of it.
00:38 I'm down though to test stuff once monetization is really cranking."
00:42 In a recent update on January 15th, MrBeast uploaded one of his videos to X to test how
00:47 much revenue it'll actually bring in, writing "I'm curious how much ad revenue a video
00:52 on X would make, so I'm re-uploading this to test it.
